Anger Spills Over Mountain Island Coal Ash

Thanks to the We Love Mountain Island Lake group for hosting this town hall meeting on the Riverbend coal ash pond and the risk from Duke Energy coal ash ponds around the state.

Thanks to the program participants Sara Benke, Dee and George Hamm, Rhiannon Fionn Bowman, Sam Perkins, Rep. Rodney Moore, Rep. John Torbett, and Monica Embrey. Recognition and thanks to Senator Joel Ford for attending and Rep. Charles Jeter who joined via the phone. Duke Energy, NC DENR, and Charlotte Mecklenburg Utilities were invited but declined to attend to answer questions.
